About Jacqueline

Jacqueline Bowman is a native of Tennessee, but claims Huntsville, Alabama home.  Jacqueline lived a semi-nomadic childhood due to her father’s career as an engineer. Eventually her family moved to father’s birthplace of Hillsboro, AL the summer before her freshman year of high school, where her parents built their forever home.  This is where Jacqueline’s love of interior design and architecture began.

Jacqueline graduated from Tuskegee University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.  She has fifteen years of experience in supporting and leading new product introduction projects in five different industries around the globe, that led to her traveling the world and living abroad in Europe.  Jacqueline’s experience in the corporate world developed her natural inclination for continuous improvement, project management capabilities, service skills, and people skills that translate easily to her design business.

Jacqueline’s natural gift turned into passion while she transformed and updated her first home, a 1970s split-level fixer upper.

In 2017, Jacqueline launched Ball & Jacks Designs to fulfill that passion and share her natural gift of design.  Her design aesthetic can be described as eclectically chic with cultural influences.  She believes that her clients should have a space that inspires them, gives them a sense of comfort and peace, and most importantly truly reflects their style and personality.  She has a natural gift of blending the loves and needs of a client effortlessly.
